G H S S Ezhur School was started in 2004 with a view to provide better facilities in the field of education . The School is sponsored by the Government of Kerala, India ,the objects of which include the averall developments of education ,arts and other cultural activities. Over the past years, the school that was started with 8th class has gown to be a full fleged Higher Secondary School.
Ever since the School started presenting students for the SSLC Examination, it could gain high persent success . English is the medium of instruction in all classes . The school follows the syllabus prescribed b y the Goverment of kerala .

This is the first School in Ezhur that has been recognized from 8th to 12th Standard. It also has the reputation of achieving the highest scores in the SSLC Examinations and Plus Two, in the whole district.
